As a global footwear manufacturing company,
home to a diverse portfolio of loved and admired brands, Western Footwear Limited, hereinafter referred to as "WFL", is a 100% export-oriented leather and sports shoe manufacturing company based in Bangladesh that started as a limited liability company in 2016 with a commitment to produce the highest quality footwear and optimize best customer satisfaction.
Headed by Managing Director Mr. Golam Rahman, WFL is capable of producing 150,000 pairs of shoes per month. In doing so, from the very beginning, WFL has provided an ethical, safe, and friendly workplace for its employees, which is its main incentive to move forward. We have our own training center for the development of our employees. Through our own capabilities and the assistance of our mother organization Deshabndhu Group Limited through the training program, we are constantly trying to improve our skills to meet the needs of our clients. We have our own innovative developments that we can offer to our customers. We help our clients develop their own designs as well.
Production
our Production Units
Rubber & PU Sole
To make the whole production process smooth and spontaneous, the company also produces rubber and polyurethane soles in its own factories. The rubber division currently has a production capacity of 300,000 pairs of rubber soles every month. The PU division produces around 230,000 pairs of PU soles per month. Both of these soles are in high demand both globally and locally. To maintain world standards and fast delivery, the company purchases the highest quality raw materials from renowned suppliers from all over the world.
Embroidery
To reduce lead times and maintain quality, WFL has invested in other facilities to offer customers a wide choice. We have our own embroidery department with the 2 best new machines and well-equipped screen-printing departments with all conveniences inside. We also manufacture cutting dies in our own factory. Since the establishment of WFL, it has always tried to provide maximum added value in its own premises, and as a result, right now, the entire shoe production process from A to Z is carried out in its own premises.
Flip-Flop
WFL has a vigorous plan to open its flip-flop footwear section and want to be one of the best exporters of Bangladesh. It will be exporting world-leading quality standard EVA & Rubber flip -flop, beach sandals, and slippers for various customers. It has well-trained technologists a well-equipped lab to generate any recipe as per customer requirements and colors. WFL will be producing a wide range of designs, colors, and different combinations of upper-made flip -flop and slippers for Men, Women, and children. We plan to make PVC (Toxic free) and TPR straps for our flip-flop in its own premises with well-skilled technical expertise. We intend to add state of art screen-printing area to offer 4-6 different color printing.
Direct Injection Shoes
In order to offer product diversification to catch the market trend, WFL also intends to produce direct injection shoes with PU leather and fabric upper. We intend to make shoes out of PVC (non-toxic) and TPR. We are about to manufacture casual shoes, sports shoes, and direct injection hiking shoes.
IMEVA Sole
In order to meet the demand and market trends for lightweight, flexible yet durable sports/running/casual footwear, WFL has set up an EVA sole manufacturing facility (IMEVA) at its premises. From sourcing quality raw materials from all over the world to ensuring the required quality standard of outsole/midsole finishes, the company keeps a close eye on every process. Therefore, we have a rubber manufacturing plant in our facility, we prepare and produce IMEVA rubber and midsole combination sole together with the customer. All of our in-house facilities must ensure quality at every step.

WFL maintains a safe, clean, healthy, and work-friendly environment
with all levels of the workforce. We believe that nothing is possible without the right people, and people are the main force. Own medical facilities, a prayer room, a clean toilet, a well-organized dining room, drinking water available, good ventilation, and sufficient lighting in the workplace are always in the corner of the required area.
WFL covers the design, development, and production of samples
for mass production. Our products are aimed at fashionable customers of all ages. During the design and development phase, we collaborate with our customers to develop products that deliver the greatest value to consumers. We have fully equipped facilities such as a sample room, showroom, technical center with Declaim 2D/3D Crispin software to meet the most demanding requirements of our customers.

An independent department is responsible for checking the safety
and quality of all newly developed products, as well as those that are mass-produced for customers. We insist that every pair of shoes that comes from our factories meet the requirements of customers. Thus, we check the quality in bulk with a confirming sample from raw materials to each stage of production, for example; raw materials, soles, upper materials before cutting, stitched uppers, extended uppers, and finished shoes. Quality control staff, experts in their field, check the quality at every stage of production, from incoming raw materials to finished products.

It maintains quality and compliance standards for all its valued customers. It has already passed all the standard requirements, code of conduct, health and safety requirements of many world-famous shoe brands and retailers.
All WFL manufacturing facilities are equipped with the best addressable interconnected fire detection, fire alarm, and firefighting solutions. Regular firefighting, evacuation, rescue, first aid, fire prevention, and safety training are conducted to prepare employees for any unforeseen hazards in the workplace. An experienced and qualified compliance team ensures that all requirements are met, such as health, safety, and environmental issues, proper ventilation, sufficient lighting, health and hygiene, local labor law requirements, customer code of conduct, international labor requirements, some best practices and a healthy working environment with the following.
